Wouldn't you just love a new machine?
I really love the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machines; they are user-friendly and work well on all fabrics. Part of their appeal is that they are as close as you can get to an industrial without the commitment of buying an industrial sewing machine. Mechanical machines tend to be less fussy and easier to fix if something goes wrong.
At €399, it is a bit of an investment but a good, reliable sewing machine makes sewing much more enjoyable and removes unnecessary stress. Included in the price are all the usual bits and bobs, a practical carry bag and a free tutorial lesson. I don’t sell directly through the website (just yet), but if you are interested, send me an email and I’ll get right back to you.

Next on your wish list should be an overlocker. My absolute favourite is the Singer S0605; she hums instead of growls as she gently finishes your edges. This model is €899, but other options are available from €559. Included in the price are all the usual bits and bobs and a tutorial lesson.
